Otto Wilde had asked us to design a new gas grill, our answer was a smart and modular gas grill platform for passionate grillers. The Otto Wilde Platform. 

The Otto Wilde platform not only revolutionizes the handling of a grill, it can also cater specifically to the user's individual preferences. This grill grows with passion. The customer not only decides which combinations correspond to his passion but also WHEN. Whether a small, compact unit for the balcony, with a little more storage space for the front yard - or a smart outdoor kitchen, this platform brings almost unlimited customization options; - at any time.

The central element of the Otto Wilde platform is a powerful 32 inch gas grill with a premium range of features. Made 100% of stainless steel, it forms the basis for an architecture that is made for absolute flexibility and functionality without compromise.
Connected or Smart?

Connected or Smart?

The G32” is available in two versions. In the "Connected" variant, the grill is equipped with sensors and temperature measuring components, which make it possible to monitor the grill process on a smartphone or to navigate step by step through one of the numerous recipes.
In the “Smart” version, the grill can also be controlled via smartphone in addition to temperature monitoring of meat and cooking space zones. An upgrade from “Connected” to “Smart” is possible at any time within just a few minutes.

The G32" Smart comes with 4 stainless steel burners and an extra long rotisserie burner. It is completely made of stainless steel and offers high-end technology. With the Smart version relevant values such as burner and core temperature can easily read out. Additionally, it is possibility to control the grill with a Smartphone. The temperature is then regulated by the grill.

The G16" has all the features of its big brother. Instead of four burners, one burner with twice the power is installed here. Additionally, a rotisserie burner is also installed, of course. Its size makes it the perfect balcony grill or makes it the second zone for your G32".

Otto Wilde

About Otto Wilde

The collaboration with the Otto Wilde Grillers started in March 2015. At that time the company was not even established, - 4 founders and the idea of bringing a infrared gas grill onto the market.

The Industrial Design Studio decided not to answer the question about a shape with an extended StatusQuo, but to rethink this product typology from scratch in terms of technology, functionality and design. We invented the O.F.B. and convinced the Otto Wilde Grillers. They launched their first Kickstarter campaign.
The small company has now grown into a large team and we are proud to be inventors, designers and supporters in the product development of the entire portfolio. In addition to the O.F.B. Original, O.F.B. Premium, O.F.B. Lite we also designed the E-O.F.B., a the grill stand, various accessories and of course the Otto Wilde platform.
