Suno’s covers with water-repellent and washable properties and its wooden frame and surfaces that are easy to clean, make this collection ideal for health care cafés and restaurants.

SUNO WOOD creates a warm atmosphere in restaurant and café inside healthcare centres, but also in its living areas, whilst meeting needs of such facilities.
The SUNO WOOD collection consists of a wooden chair and armchair, with optional plywood, polymer or upholstery on the seat and back.
Optionally, the stackable SUNO collection is capable to be equipped with a row linking system, thus making seating for public events possible.

S-CURVE – lordosis support and freedom of movement
In a joint study with doctors, occupational therapists, ergonomists and nursing staff, for SUNO, the S-Curve was developed by paying special attention on the ergonomics of the seat and back for people of an advanced age.
The characteristically shaped backrest supports the lordosis in the lumbar region and allows freedom of movement in the shoulder area due to the curvature of its backrest. This property lengthens the time of fatigue free sitting in a relaxed posture whilst keeping an upright position.

Removable and washable upholsteries can be used on the seats of the SUNO collection. The cover can effortlessly be removed by a zipper prior the washing process. Antibacterial and resistance properties are even retained after a wash with temperatures of up to 60 degrees Celsius.
water-repellent fabric
If the SUNO collection is used in health care sectors, the use of the water
repellent fabric cover that is covered with a special moisture protection is
recommended. The seat can be separated effortlessly by removing four screws, if a thorough wash by the staff in the designated areas within the hospital is needed.
rowlinking system
The stackable SUNO collection can be equipped with a row linking system which makes seating for public events possible. The certified system complies with all international standards and is securely connected to the wooden frame. After use, the system can be stored without creating any excess surface irregularities by sliding the components under the seat.

In designing the SUNO collection, special attention has been paid to the seamless joints and form-fitting, to enable easy and intensive cleaning. The so-called “crumb sweep” located between the back and the seat facilitates cleaning. The accumulation of unwanted segments between the upholstery and wood is avoided by the horizontally aligned connections of the different materials.

SUNO has a seamless surface structure, which makes the daily disinfection cleaning easier and prevents unwanted particles from accumulating in joints and corners. The special antibacterial lacquers coating also protects the wood at the butt joints.

Thanks to the light weighted frame, SUNO is stackable at events, for cleaning and storage. The plywood and polymer seat version comes with dampers that provide protection during stacking. Variants with upholstery are equipped with a plastic stacking tray.

The back cushions of SUNO WOOD are easy to replace by using the practical Velcro straps. In combination with the removable seats, the entire cleaning process is simplified and the maintenance time significantly shortened.
